Outlook for Android—Quick Guide

Main Features:

Connect, organize, and manage emails and calendars efficiently.
Download from the Google Play Store if not already installed.

Email Management

Tap Menu to view folders and settings.
Tap Filters to show only:
- Unread messages
- Flagged messages
- Messages with attachments
Flag a message:Open it → tap More (three dots) → Flag.
Conversation view: Displays the number of items in a thread.
Focused Inbox:
- Automatically sorts important emails.
- Turn on/off via Settings > Focused Inbox.

Search & Favorites

Tap Search once: Find recent contacts/files.
Tap twice: Search email content.
Favorite a folder:
- Tap Menu > Edit icon > Star icon.
- Favorite folders move to the top.

Settings & Customization

Do Not Disturb:
- Tap Menu > Bell icon to manage options.
Swipe Actions:
- Set via Settings > Swipe Options > Swipe Right/Left and choose action.
Switch between the “Focused” and “Other” tabs by tapping at the top.

Calendar Features

Switch to Calendar view: Tap Menu > Calendar.
Add/View calendars: Includes shared calendars.
Change view: Tap View > Agenda, Day, or 3-Day.
RSVP to events: Tap RSVP in invitation → Choose Accept, Tentative, or Decline.
Create new event:Tap New Meeting.
Swipe down to reveal more of the calendar.

Attachments & Contacts

Attach files:
- In a message, tap New Message > Attach > Choose from files.
- Select a file (including from OneDrive).
Contact Card:
- Tap a contact’s name to view their phone number, email, and details.
